earlySTEMer is Nigeria’s #1 Online Coding School for kids between 6 and 18 years old. While we are based in Lagos, Nigeria, our coding classes and courses are available to kids in Nigeria as well as anywhere in the world.
As we are in the age of Technology, STEM skills such as Coding and Robotics are important to lay the right foundation for kids and the future of work. Furthermore, STEM education is one of the ways to equip kids with 21st-century skills such as Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Creativity.
Our beginner courses have been developed in such a way that a complete beginner can follow along without any trouble. Kids as young as 6 years old learn with us.
Our Virtual Group Classes are priced between ₦15,000 (6 classes) and ₦20,000 (8 classes) depending on the course. This means that each class costs just ₦2,500.
Each course runs between 6 and 8 classes, and classes hold once a week.
We recommend that kids using the platform know how to read without help. We find this happens from 6 years. However, some courses require that kids are at least 8 years or older before they can participate.
All that is needed to learn with us is a laptop/computer with an Internet connection and Zoom installed. Tablets may also be used but with limited functionality depending on the course.
Each class runs for 1 hour once a week. However, classes may run up to 30 minutes longer so that all concepts for that class can be covered.
We have a range of courses for beginners as well as those with previous coding experience. We can also run assessments to determine what course your child should take.
