At earlySTEMer, we recognize that unexpected circumstances can arise, leading to your child’s absence from their scheduled class or the need to reschedule their 1:1 session. To provide clarity, our policy regarding rescheduling is outlined below:
Class Joining Time
- Kindly assist your child in joining the live classes early enough so that teaching can start promptly.
- If a student has not joined their class after 15 minutes of the class start time, that class will be cancelled and may need to be rescheduled according to the reschedule rules below. Any payment for that class will also be forfeited.
Free Reschedule
- You have the option to reschedule one class free of charge, with at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled session. In case of emergencies such as health-related matters, you can also reschedule without any additional fees.
Paid Reschedule
- Subsequent rescheduled classes or late reschedules will be billed at ₦7,500/class.
- You can decide not to pay for an extra class and instead have your child independently complete the outstanding activities using the resources available on the learning platform.
Session End
- In the event of missed or rescheduled classes, a session will end at most 1 week after the official end date of that session.
Public Holidays
- As a Nigerian-based organization, we may need to reschedule classes that coincide with Nigerian public holidays. In such cases, the class will be rescheduled and the session extended, unless both the student and tutor are available and willing to proceed as scheduled.
